1959 Desert Inn Tournament of Champions Bag Tag - 3 Time Event Champ Arnold Palmer
This lot offers a detailed 3 1/2" diameter contestants bag tag designed for Hall of Famer Arnold Palmer at the 1959 Desert Inn Tournament of Champions. This Las Vegas event had its origin in 1953 featuring only players who won PGA Tour events the previous year. A premiere stop on the Tour yearly the event was contested in Las Vegas from 1953-66. Similar to their dominance at the Masters between 1962-66, Jack Nicklaus and Palmer would capture each of the titles in that five year period at the Tournament of Champions with "The King" winning 1962-65-66. Palmer gained entrance in 1959 via his 1958 Tour wins at the St. Petersburg Open, Pepsi Challenge and of course his first career triumph at the Masters. One the Arnold Palmer aficionado this is a sure new addition to even the most detailed collection.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
