Walter Hagen 'The Press Golf Shoot's Par An All Golf News' Thermometer by Lakeside Mfg. Co. Chicago
Functional advertising tools have long been an aggressive, engaging and often expensive route to go for companies, with high-exposure from those that are, for example, looking at the temperature. Likely set up in a brick and morter public store with high foot-traffic, this thermometer carries a black and white post-swing Walter Hagen image as its main subject, with "The Press - Golf News" and "Shoot's Par on All" in red and black text respectively. Walter Hagen made his mark on the golfing world from 1914 through the late 1920's. He earned an incredible 11 Major titles, missing only a Masters title. His image graces a vintage great condition thermometer offered here for bidders. It has a 7 1/4" diameter and presents well.

Place your bids now as this auction will end at 9:00pm ET Sunday, September 20th with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. When placing INITIAL bid, you must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your bid. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
