Arnold Palmer Signed Vintage Arnold Palmer Latrobe C.C. Duffel Bag
In the early 1960s when the course was expanded to 18 holes, Arnold and his father Deacon "Deke" Palmer contributed heavily to the design of the new holes and to the renovating of the existing holes to fit the new layout. Arnold Palmer purchased the course in roughly 50 years after its inception in 1971. Contained in this offering is a Arnold Palmer Signed Vintage Arnold Palmer Latrobe C.C. Duffel Bag. The King's patented flawless penmanship can be found in black sharpie on the duffel bag's red leather stripe. 'Arnold Palmer's Latrobe CC' is embroidered circling the iconic yellow, green, red and white umbrella. Palmer, along with Nicklaus and Player, is credited with making golf popular as an every man's sport, not only for the "upper-class." 7 time Major winner, Arnie's impact on the game of golf will never be forgotten. The vintage bag is in good but used condition, with minor expected blemishes throughout.
