President Gerald Ford Signed Cut Signature

This lot features a signed cut by the 38th President of the United States, Gerald Ford. Ford served as President from 1974-1977, following Richard Nixon's Watergate scandal and resignation. Ford signed this piece of paper in black marker 'Jerry Ford' similar to his Jerry Ford Invitational tournament name. An interesting presidential golfing fact is that the 1977 Danny Thomas saw not only Al Geiberger's 59 round, but on Wednesday, June 8 Ford recorded a hole-in-one during the pro-am which was first for a US President in competition.
