Robert Forgan Special Long Nose Putter
Clubmaking Luminary Robert Forgan began making clubs in 1852 and his company still thrives today in St Andrews, the oldest club manufacturing company in the world. Deeply marked and legible is the 'R. Forgan Special' crown stamp. This club has the time-period ram's horn insert in sole, and and is in overall good condition with small signs of age throughout, as seen in photos.
The final picture accompanying this lot shows the different desirable dimensions of the long nose club head that is often invaluable when assessing a club of this caliber.
33 3/4" from the top of the grip to the bottom of the heel.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
