Ralph Guldahl Signed Hand-Written Letter on Braemar CC Letterhead
The 3 time Major winning Ralph Guldahl was one of the top players in the sport in the late 1930s. Guldahl won three major championships, the US Open in 1937 and 1938 and the Masters in 1939. Passing in 1987, long before collecting past Masters winners signatures was common place, this letter on Braemer letterhead bears the Braemar Country Club logo. This of course makes Guldahl's signature one of the more challenging of champs signatures for those assembling the complete run of victors at the Augusta National. It is signed in pen to conclude the letter to a fan of his. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this Ralph Guldahl signature, and their letter of authenticity will come with this lot. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
