Seldom Seen Ben Sayers of North Berwick Bramble Golf Ball - Excellent Condition
Seldom seen hand-marked bramble golf ball from Ben Sayers of North Berwick, Scotland. Stamped at the equator of ball in capital lettering is B. SAYERS. It remains in excellent condition with nearly full original paint, and only a hint of scuffs. Sayers was a top match play professional, so accomplished that he finished second in the 1888 Open Championship. His skilled ball making business was noted for the design of very small golf balls with often found eccentricities in shape.
