Ramon Sota Signed Vintage Augusta National Scorecard
This offering is for a time-period Augusta National Scorecard that is signed and scored by Ramon Sota, a prominent Spanish professional golfer. In fact in 1965, Sota finished 6th at the U.S. Masters, which at the time was the best performance in the tournament by any European. The interesting story continues with Sota, as he competed on the European tour for one season. During that season he became the first player to be penalised in Britain for slow play and promptly retired. This ANGC scorecard is signed and scored with the Masters Tournament date in blue ballpoint pen. Please note card matches the members scorecard of the 1960's , and not one used by contestants in Masters play. Also date of April 5 corresponds to Thursday round which Sota shot 71. He did shoot 70 in Saturday April 10th round. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authentication comes with this lot.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
