1927 Western Amateur Championship at Seattle Golf Club(ONE OF A KIND Director Ribbon Badge - Bob Stein Winner
Measuring 2" wide and 6 1/2" long to include its ornate tasseled ribbon with one of a kind designation of DIRECTOR. This 90 plus year old relic hails from the prestigious 1927 Western Amateur at Seattle Golf Club. Bon Stein held off Eddie Held for a 2&1 victory. Despite tournament use it still remains in excellent condition. The Western Amateur is an annual tournament that attracts some of the best U.S. male amateur golfers. Notable winners of the Western Amateur include Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Ben Crensaw, Justin Leonard, Phil Mickelson, Hal Sutton, and Francis Ouimet.
