Featured in this lot is an Interlachen Country Club Bobby Jones Grand Slam 1930 Commemorative Dish/Plate. George Trevor sportswriter for the New York Sun would phrase Jones' four Major triumphs in 1930 as such, "stormed the impregnable quadrilateral of golf." The week long 1920 United States Golf Association Championship is looked back at as one of the grandest moments in the Golden Age of Sport, Bobby Jones's accomplishment as the only player to win the pre-Masters era Grand Slam. This dish is in good condition, with a vintage course layout of the Edina, Minnesota club. 7" x 9"
