1937 Western Open Championship at Canterbury Golf Club Contestant Badge - Guldahl Win
Presented in this lot is a contestant's badge from the 1937 Western Open at the hallowed Canterbury Golf Club that saw leading golfers of the day Ralph Guldahl and Horton Smith finish in a 72-hole tie, with Guldahl capturing his second of three consecutive Western Open Championships by four strokes over Smith with an even par 72. This contestant badge is in good condition, with royal blue text popping on a white background. There is some corrosion on its reverse only noted for accuracy purposes. 1 1/2" diameter
