Contained in this lot is 1927 Acme Media Photo of Walter Hagen Sinking Winning Putt at 1st Ryder Cup Matches. The reverse contains both the Acme media stamp and the photo caption that was published with it. 1927 would be the inaugural Ryder Cup matches between the United States and Great Britian, with the dominant Walter Hagen and United States getting the edge. The photo has very slight aging on the front, indicative of its time and industry usage.
