Jack Burke Masters 1957 SPORT Photo


The 1956 Masters Tournament saw Jack Burke, Jr. win his first Major. Passing Ken Venturi after scorching back from a record 8 shots down, Burke claimed his title at the last Masters Tournament not to have a 36-hole cut. Contained in this lot is a photo from SPORT that captures Burke attempting to defend his title with caddies looking on.
