1942 The Country Club at Brookline Hard Cover Book in Excellent Condition
This offering contains a WWII time-period 1942 year book from the Country Club of Brookline. The cover boasts a vibrant emerald green, characteristic of The Country Club of Brookline. It is in good to very good condition, with slight overall wear. Established in 1882, The Country Club was one of the five charter clubs that founded the United States Golf Association on December 22, 1894. In 1913 the club was host to the US Open, won by the unlikely amateur champion Francis Ouimet. Curtis Strange won his first of back-to-back US Open titles in 1988 at famed The Country Club of Brookline, MA.
