Mark Calcavecchia's 1992 US Open at Pebble Beach Contestant Gift - Cut Crystal is contained in this lot, Calcavecchia finished with a T-33 at the tournament. In the shape of a diamond, this stunning cut glass piece is adorned by a 'Contestant' metal plate with the tournament logo. It is hand numbered 76/156 on the front. The 1992 US Open was a chance for Tom Kite to get the monkey off of his back. That monkey being an elusive Major championship victory, as Kite was long considered one of the best golfers to never win a Major. He would finally do just that at Pebble Beach, finishing two strokes ahead of Jeff Sluman for his lone Major championship. This piece measures 3 1/4" accross and 2 1/2" "tall."
