Circa 1890's Osmond's Patent 'The Automation Caddie' - Thornhill Works Lee S.E.

This offering is for a Osmond's Patent 'The Automation Caddie' - Thornhill Works Lee S.E. caddie bag constructed with a wooden frame. It is decorated and conjoined by brass plates, one of which is adorned by Osmond's Patent, Thornhill Works, Lee, S.E. The piece is in good condition, with overall wear that is shown in accompanying photos. Leather handles, still intact, are used to transport the cylindrical canvas mounted bag. There is an additional canvas bag for items strapped to the top of the piece. Collector's often the task of displaying vintage hickory clubs, with this solution being one of the most ideal and elegant. This type of caddie bags date back to 1890's time period. It is 31" tall.
