Early 1930's Augusta National Golf Club Original Photo of Magnolias
Please Note: This is the final opportunity to acquire these photos of Augusta National from the Wendell P. Miller Collection. This never before seen picture features a Magnolia bush on Augusta National Golf Club's grounds, the very type of flower of which Berckman's Nursery introduced to the grounds prior to breaking ground. Augusta National Golf Club continues to use the magnolia as a symbol, the 5th hole name and of course in the famous Magnolia Lane entry way. This image has been stored in the files of the original Augusta National Golf Club's engineer Wendell P. Miller's family for over 85 years. It cries out for ownership by the finest photo libraries known with a dedication to Bobby Jones, Augusta National Golf Club or golf history as an emphasis. Crystal clear 8x10 image, with only slight surface wear. Letter of provenance from the family of Wendell P. Miller comes with this lot.
