1931 Bobby Jones in Suit Wire Photo


This lot contains a 6 3/4 x 9 1/2 (jagged cut) publicity shot from Vitaphone Corp for the Bobby Jones 1931 short "The Putter". This was distributed to the Chicago Tribune with the mark ups for newspaper presentation appearing on verso of this image. Of note the cut line on verso comes from hall of fame golf writer Charles Bartlett of the Chicago Tribune. The press lounge at the Augusta National is named in Bartlett's honor.

AUCTION CLOSING RULES:


This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, November 24th with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
