Gene Sarazen Camel Tobacco Comic Strip in Framed Presentation

The Squire was featured in this twelve cell Camel Tobacco comic strip that gave the indication that with their cigarettes you too can shoot your best round with steady nerves. Features such as the cigarettes mildness are peppered throughout the comic strip, while Sarazen wins the "American and British Opens" and shoots a final round of 66. Sarazen was the first player to finish the modern career Grand Slam, making him an easy choice for many endorsement, including the Camel cigarettes one here. This colorful advertisement was a feel-good comic and a hard one not to read as one scanned the daily newspaper. It is framed tastefully to 20" by 25."
