Ralph Smith "Trusite" Hand Forged Mashie Club - Scotland


Ralph Smith moved to Scotland at a young and became James Braid's best friend, and best man at his wedding. George Forrester in Elie was his apprentice, along with many of the other great clubmakers in that area. Smith then became a club pro at Hastings Club in Kent in 1896, where he would teach until 1921. After that club he traveled to the United States and accepted a positions at the Denver Country Club and later the Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit, New Jersey. This club is in good condition and has the name "trusite" on the head. It is 37" from bottom of the heel to the top of the grip.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)

1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
