1923 First Gross Fall Open Silver Loving Cup at Brockton Country Club Trophy Given to HH Marden - Stamped Reed & Barton

This nearly century-old trophy came from the Brockton Country Club and was for the 1923 First Gross Fall Silver Loving Cup, won by HH Marden. The trophy is 9" tall x 6" diameter and is in good condition, with heavy tarnish. This piece will come with a signed letter from Historian Bob Denney of the PGA, proclaiming that this item comes from their collection.

The Golf Auction will be on site this Tuesday through Sunday (July 31^st - August 4^th) at the 2019 National Sports Collectors Convention in Rosemont, Il. We will be accepting consignments, performing appraisals, and accepting bids. Stop by and say hello! We will be in Booth #1018

AUCTION CLOSING RULES:

This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, August 4th with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)

1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
