Royal Troon Pewter Flask with Course Layout & Scorecard Engraved - Great Condition
Here we have an English pewter flask made in England. The course layout of Royal Troon is etched into the front of the flask, and a course scorecard is on the back. The following description is also etched on the front:
"Troon Golf Club was founded in 1878 with the original links comprising of 5 holes. The course was extended to 18 holes by 1888, and in 1923 Troon held its first Open Championship. In 1978 its centenary year the club received its Royal Charter."
