1938 LA Open Tournament at Griffith Park Monday Pairing & Start Schedule Program
Here we have the Monday pairing sheet for the 1938 Los Angeles Open. It comes in good condition, with vertical folding present and what appears to be a black ink stain on the center page, and a tear to the lower right hand corner of the cover. Jimmy Thomson shot an 11 under and defeated Johnny Revolta to claim the title. Jimmy Thomson was a top 1920's and 1930's PGA competitor regarded as the longest hitter of his day, he spent much of his time touring and giving exhibitions.
