In 1987 a fan who purchased a gold screen-printed undated Memorial flag was lucky to hit that years trifecta of autographs on the flag. They included Tournament champion Don Pooley (ink), Curt Byrum second place finisher (ink) and the Tournament host not a bad player himself, Jack Nicklaus (black sharpie). JSA has verified the authenticity of all three signatures in a letter which accompanies this lot. A near mint 1987 Memorial Tournament clubhouse badge free from writing or cracking is also included with this lot. Notations on flag 1st, 2nd and 1987 Memorial Tournament are signed in unknown hands.
