The 1938 Crescent City Open marked the second time a professional golf tournament came to New Orleans, LA. The initial event in 1922 held under a different event name was won by Gene Sarazen. The event would only be known as the Crescent City Open one year that being 1938, but the yearly gathering of PGA players has continued to this day in New Orleans and is now named the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. In 1938 the tournament was held at City Park Golf Course with Harry Cooper taking home the champions medal. Offered here Contestants Pin measures 1 1/4" in diameter.
