Vintage 1930 International News wire photo from The Sporting News Collection shows Harrison "Jimmy" Johnson, who won the 1929 US Amateur played at Pebble Beach, with Bobby Jones who later that year would claim the 1930 US Amateur. This win would give Jones all four of Golf's Majors in 1930 completing the "Impregnable Quadrilateral. This cutdown wire photo measures 3 1/2"by 8". At a glance it appears free from defects, but at closer inspection there is a small surface crease in upper left hand corner. Also present is a small rippling 1" centered at extreme bottom of photo. Both of these are mentioned for accuracy, and do not significantly mar the image.
