1941 Chicago Open Tournament Official Guest Badge - Ben Hogan Win!
Every one remembers Ben Hogan's run of great golf post accident in the early 1950's. He was equally dominate in the early 1940's winning Vardon Trophies and PGA Money titles in both 1940 and 1941. One of the events that led to those titles in 1941 was his win by two strokes over Craig Wood at the Chicago Open. For Hogan it was his 7th of 64 career wins. This 1 3/4" diameter guest badge with verso George Lauterer Chicago manufacturer paper still intact reflects a Near Mint level of condition. A seldom encountered and distinctive Ben Hogan memento!
