1989 US Amateur at Merion Porcelain Plate with 2005 US Amateur Member Badge


Offered here is a 10 3/4" in diameter porcelain plate from the 1989 US Amateur and a badge from the 2005 US Amateur, both hosted by Merion Golf Club. Both items are in great condition and will display well. Merion Golf Club has hosted many important events in the almost 120 years of it's existence. It has hosted 5 US Opens, including the 1950 US Open where Ben Hogan made his incredible comeback from the near-fatal car accident, and the 1971 US Open that saw Trevino defeat Nicklaus in a playoff. Merion has also hosted a slew of men's and women's Amateur Opens, including the 1924 and 1930 Amateurs won by Bobby Jones.
