1915 Indian Hill Club President's Cup Championship Sterling Silver Trophy Won by Edward Cummins
Here we have an 11" tall sterling silver trophy with a 4 1/2" base. This trophy was awarded to Edward Cummins in 1915 for winning the Indian Hill Club President's Cup Championship. Edward Cummins was a member of the Gold Medal winning 1904 Olympic team and placed 25th in the individual events. Indian Hill golf club opened in 1914, so this trophy was a very early piece of their history. Indian Hill GC served as the model for the movie Caddyshack, although the film was shot in Florida, the partying and overall concepts were based on Indian Hill. This trophy is in great condition and will add nicely to any collection. The engravings read as follows:
