5 Reading Open Programs (1947-1951) & 1953 Ryder Cup Challenge Matches Program - All Binded
W. Albert Heizman Jr. binded together programs from five Reading Open tournaments (1947-1951) and a 1953 Ryder Cup Challenge Match. The binding has kept these programs in excellent condition. In the 1953 Ryder Cup, the United States team won its sixth straight competition, defeating the British team 6.5 to 5.5. The following golfers won the Reading Open, with respective year:
1947 - E.J. "Dutch" Harrison
1948 - Ben Hogan
1949 - Cary Middlecoff
1950 - Sam Snead
1951 - Jim Turnesa
