1975 Ryder Cup at Laurel Valley Golf Club Commemorative Bullion Blazer Patch
Comprised in stunning bullion fringed construction which has been hand crafted, employing gold thread against a vibrant deep red background. The crest displays the flags of the two competing nations, an image of the prized Cup so named for it's original presenter. The 1975 Ryder Cup participants displayed crests similar to this one on their blazers before, during and after the Champions Dinner as has been the tradition over the events rich history. Arnold Palmer was the obvious choice for captain of the US team at the 1975 Ryder Cup matches. Contested in Palmer's "backyard" at Laurel Valley, the US team dominated team Great Britain and Ireland 21-11. The commemorative badge boasts elevated eye appeal.
