Bush to the victorious 2000 President's Cup US Captain Ken Venturi following an intimate dinner the night prior. Here is the complete United States squad that made it happen 2000 The President's Cup including Captain Venturi, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson. The US was firing on all cylinders that week, with a highly impressive 21 1/2 to 10 1/2 total points victory over the over-matched international team. It was only the fourth playing of the President's Cup and last until 2003, with the 2001 Ryder Cup being postponed until 2002 due to the tragic events of 9/11. The 2000 competition took place at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainsville, Virginia. In clean, uniform black sharpie with excellent spacing are the following autographs on this white embroidered hat: Woods, Mickelson, Venturi, Hal Sutton, David Duval, Davis Love III, Paul Azinger, Notah Begay, Justin Leonard, Tom Lehman, Loren Roberts, Stewart Cink, Kirk Triplet, Jim Furyk and Vice Captain Paul Blanchard. This hat is complete with the patriotic addition of the US Flag embroidered on the left side.
