Tiger Woods Signed Time Period Kodak Post-Swing Photo PSA/DNA #AR00977
In his Stanford red penmanship, amateur Tiger Woods signed this original 8x10 photo capturing the phenom likely during a collegiate tournament closely cropped of the hatless Woods following through an iron shot in which he likely striped. A limited media presence was on hand for NCAA golf tournaments, as opposed to Woods' Amateur victories, yielding far less original photos such as this 'Kodak' paper example (note the Olympic rings design presumably for the 1996 Atlanta playing pattern on verso). White windbreaker jacket and black pants, matching his teammate just out of the frame in the foreground off to the right, Tiger Woods would win the individual NCAA Championship title to go along with the already decorated golfer's 1991-1993 US Junior Amateur and 1994 & 1995 US Amateur titles (two months removed from his third consecutive US Amateur title). The time-period signature Woods added to this photo went through numerous design changes, with Woods shortening up these late amateur years prior to elongating his signature. PSA/DNA took an extreme liking to this signature and awarded it their full letter of authenticity #AR00977 that accompanies this lot.
