Ceramic Copeland Green & Brown Pitcher w/Victorian Era Golfers & Caddies In Relief
Here is a vintage Copeland Spode Golf Themed pitcher with a time-period golf scene in on the army green pitcher. Josiah Spode established his ceramics company in 1776 after spending several years working for other local potteries. Like his friend and neighbor Josiah Wedgwood, Spode focused on making the highest quality ceramic wares. With a relief golf scene in light grey on the olive green background, this ornate, detailed English stamped pitcher presents very well. Please note that there is a crack in bottom and chip in spout as depicted in lot photos. 5"
