Early, In the first 10 of the very limited UDA Tiger/Jack dual signed flag release the pair signed this #9/100 2005 Open Championship Flag. Now celebrating the 20th anniversary, these robust jet black signatures look like they do when the pair of luminaries sat-down to sign for the Upper Deck representative then. The Upper Deck Authentic deluxe shadowbox framing design showcases the centered flag with photos of each Woods and Nicklaus on the top left and bottom right respectively with the fitting Royal blue matting.
The passing of the torch happened in each of the majors. Nicklaus would announce his final round of competition and Tiger Woods would win the tournament. This happened at the 2000 PGA Championship (they actually played together), 2000 US Open, 2005 Masters Tournament and the 2005 Open Championship at St Andrews. It would mark Jack Nicklaus' final round of major championship golf. To commemorate Tiger Woods' victory at the same time as Nicklaus' final Open they had each legend, likely the two greatest to ever play the game, sign this limited 2005 Open Championship flag.
