c.1950's 'The Masters Tournament' Tray w/Milk Glass Center & Brass Perimeter Frame
Here we offer a rare porcelain dish from Augusta National in the 1950’s. Ed Dudley was Augusta National’s first head Golf Professional with a tenure from 1932 - 1957. Porcelain center with missing paint and a metal rim adds to the eye appeal of this little treasure. Rare? Yes, in fact we have only had one other example of this tray which in October of 2023 achieved a price of $1,383 after an active 18 bid session. That previous tray was in inferior condition to this example with a strong and legible 'Masters Tournament' encircling the logo on the frontside. 4 1/2"
