Ben Hogan's Personal Photo W/ Jones, Demaret, Nelson & Hogan W/ Letter
From the Ben Hogan Collection by way of the Bob Coffin Collection which we offered years back is this crystal clear 11" x 14" photograph on board of the iconic foursome of Bobby Jones, Ben Hogan, Byron Nelson and Jimmy Demaret sitting on and around the bench in 1946 at The Masters. The oversize photo comes with copies of letters of provenance from Bob Coffin in 2017 detailing how he came to have the Ben Hogan Collection along with a copy of the transfer letter written out in 2011. The photograph is not dated, though it appears to be from the 1950's as part of the Bob Coffin collection consisting of Ben Hogan's estate. That acquisition is detailed in the two letter copies that are included in this lot and pictured.
