Brad Bryant’s Ltd. Ed. 1991 6th Annual AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Dolphin Beam Kentucky Bourbon Decanter
A favorite tour stop among pros and celebrities alike the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am was first played under that name in 1986. To commemorate the change they produced this decanter. The change was from Bing Crosby Pro-Am, in which Bing Crosby held his annual tournament for the first time in 1937. The tournament was played in San Diego prior to WWII, when it then traveled to Cypress Point Club, Pebble Beach Golf Links and Monterey Peninsula Country Club until 1966. Since that date it has been played in the Pebble Beach, California area, widely known for their golf mecca and now played under the 'AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am' name.
This offering is for Bart Bryant's Personal Limited Edition #618/800 1991 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Dolphin Decanter. The animal decanters from this event are incredibly popular amongst collectors and this one is considered the most popular of all. A signed letter of authenticity from Brad Bryant comes with this lot. 8" x 3 1/4" x 10 1/2"
Brad Bryant Collection
All three rounds in the 60's (67-63-68), it was a dream came true for the triumphant Brad Bryant at the 54-hole 1995 Walt Disney World Oldsmobile Classic as inclement weather moved in. The resilient 40-year-young Bryant earned one of golf's finest monikers: PGA Tour Champion. University of New Mexico's Brad Bryant would take on the Champions Tour a decade later and win the 2007 Senior US Open major title, all while going back-to-back at the Regions Charity Classic in '06 and '07. His PGA Tour win would be backed up with four total Champions Tour victories. Longevity, consistency, hardwork and staying strong after seven runner-up finishes prior to a victory, the well-respected Bryant contested in over 500 PGA Tour events. His younger brother Bart won three times on tour as well. With great pride, The Golf Auction presents Brad Bryant's collection in which he has amassed during his professional golfing career that began nearly 50 years ago.
