Jack Nicklaus' Signed Official Used 1975 PGA Winning Thursday Scorecard - 14th Major
Showcased in this lot is the Thursday first round museum-grade scorecard for competitor, and PGA Championship winner, Jack Nicklaus, at Firestone Golf Club on August 7, 1975. Jack captured his 14th professional Major and (sweet) 16th counting his two U.S. Amateur titles, in which he does. For context, this victory saw Nicklaus double Arnold Palmer's major win total, his next closest active challenger at that time.

Jack Nicklaus' first round scorecard before you was issued by the PGA for the Thursday round of the Firestone hosted major and bears consistent use from traveling the 18 holes around Nicklaus' "home" Ohio course prior to being literally checked (as he always did) and signed in pencil by champion Jack Nicklaus. 'JACK NICKLAUS' is stamped across the "Contestant" line in the top left of the card. Dually signed in pencil by Scorer Roger Maltbie and Contestant Jack Nicklaus. Nicklaus shot an even-par 70, en route to a cumulative total of 276 and a two-stroke victory over Bruce Crampton and the Firestone field. This lot represents a piece of history, that of Jack Nicklaus at the 1975 PGA Championship!
