Gary Player Signed '1961', '1974', & '1978' The Masters Collection GSV Golf Cards
The Black Knight, Gary Player, finished his career as a nine-time major winner, grand slam champion and the first international Masters winner. This lot features three of the desirable Grand Slam Ventures Masters set "tall boy" cards with black borders and a gold-tone frame outlining moments at the 1961, 1974 and 1978 Masters Tournaments in which Player was triumphant. In black sharpie, Player added his penmanship on each of these cards from the popular signed set in the golf collecting community. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity (ALOA) comes with this lot.
