Early 1930's Augusta National Golf Club Original Photo of Grounds Aerial Shot - Miller Collection
This never before seen picture features an aerial shot of an early Augusta National Golf Club. When examined in detail one can see the clubhouse in the top right of the photo. This also illustrates that there was more work to be done, as eventual sand traps are missing in proximity below the clubhouse. This image was stored in the files of the original Augusta National Golf Club's engineer Wendell P. Miller's family for over 85 years. It cries out for ownership by the finest photo libraries known with a dedication to Bobby Jones, Augusta National Golf Club or golf history as an emphasis. 8x10 image free from chipping, with slight surface wear.
