2009 US Open at Bethpage Black Official Four (4) Scoreboard Sheets

After playing in the Sectional Qualifier out of Columbus, Ohio, Lucas Glover was tied for 7th after the first round of the 2009 US Open. He was then second place after the second and third round to US Amateur champion Ricky Barnes out of the same Sectional Qualifier. It was a 5-day USGA affair due to inclement weather in Long Island New York at the course famous for among other things its 'Warning' sign. Glover would prove to be the 'highest skilled' golfer that week at Bethpage Black, finishing a pair of strokes ahead of the field with his 4-under 276.The final runner-up list would eventually include two more names - US Open bridesmaid Phil Mickelson and Open Champion David Duval. It would result in another top-10 finish at t-6 and after the four rounds were complete, Each of the contestants would be notated colorful tournament-used scoreboard in the PGA Tour Scorer's artful handwritten calligraphy would be one of the items to be auctioned off to generate funds for the Metropolitan Golf Association Foundation. At most formal golf tournaments, amateur and professional, there is a master scoreboard with every player's name and their scores posted hole-by-hole. The scores are either written by hand or pasted in either in real time or after rounds are completed. These sheets are known as "score sheets" and they are usually immediately discarded after a tournament is completed. Here we offer the historic official score sheet from all four rounds of the field. They show the individual scores for all seventy-two holes. This remains in very presentable, nearly flawless condition as it was rolled up and stored since its usage at the tournament 15 years ago. 47" x 9 1/2"45" x 34" Each
