Horton Smith And Walter Hagen '100 Exhibitions in 38 States' Vintage B&W Photo

They would embark on a tour of 100 exhibition matches in 38 states to play golf matches 33 straight days in 1929. Walter Hagen and Horton Smith's schedule was more intense than 'Rudy Vallée & His Connecticut Yankees', the top band at that time - and certainly more memorable. Just weeks later the stock market would crash, enter the Great Depression. Here is a black and white 8" x 10" photo dated 1955 of the two golfers 25 years prior side by side on the golf course, as they found themselves on more than one occasion. 13 majors, including the first and third Masters were claimed by this pair. The verso of this non-glossy, thin-stock paper photo carries the corresponding caption.
