Walter Hagen Signed Hole In One Certificate W/ Photo - Framed
The late, great Walter Hagen (1892-1969) was the first giant of American golf, capturing a then-record 11 Majors, while elevating professional golf to never previously seen levels. Here is a filled out congratulatory hole-in-one certificate signed by the Haig himself, topping off what was likely this golfer Warren B. Buckley's fondest golfing memory at the private Exmoor Golf Club in Chicago, IL. The certificate grants admission into the Walter Hagen Hole-In-One Club, with Hagen welcoming the new member. Penned his signature cleanly on the black line, a wonderful flowing signature that many recognized as one of golf's most appealing. With Hagen's passing in the 1960's, fewer quality examples of his penmanship are available each year as they get tucked away in collections. This certificate is professionally matted and framed with a crystal clear, black and white photo of Hagen with Gene Sarazen, Tommy Armour and the smiling fourth.
