A high grade 1952 Open Championship at Royal Lytham St. Annes program is offered to you in this lot July 7-11. Bobby Locke defeated Peter Thomson for his third of four Claret Jugs. Thomson fared incredibly well at The Open, as this was the first of seven consecutive tournaments that he finished as champion or runner-up. Thomson won in 1954, 1955, 1956, 1958, 1965. Locke won over Thomson by one stroke and also won the Open Championship in 1949, 1950, and later in 1957.This program is in excellent condition, please inspect the accompanying lot photos for a detailed report on this.
