Henry 'H.G.' Picard Signed Wilson ProStaff 2 Golf Ball
The 1938 Masters champion and 1939 PGA Champion H.G. (Henry) Picard added his bold blue sharpie signature to this Wilson ProStaff 2 golf ball. Picard was one of the finest instructors in the history of the game, so revered that Ben Hogan turned to him for his eye on the golf swing. A World Golf Hall of Famer whose career numbers were cut short by illness, "Pick" had his career defining moment when he captured the fifth Masters in 1938. An outstanding signed ball from Picard who deceased in 1997, and a future showpiece of an advanced collection focused on Masters champion balls is offered here. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
