1963 PGA Championship at DAC Country Club Ticket #11273 - Jack Nicklaus Winner
This offering is for the 1963 PGA Championship at Dallas Athletic Club ticket #11273 that saw The Golden Bear claim his first PGA Championship. Jack Nicklaus at the 1963 PGA Championship not only defeated the field of top professionals and the challenging Dallas Athletic Club's Blue Course, he also overcame temperatures over 100 degrees on Championship Sunday. It was so hot when Nicklaus received the Wanamaker champions trophy he had to use a towel to protect his hands from the scalding metal. The triumph was his first of five PGA Championship wins in a career that would total 18 Major wins.
