Multi-Signed The Handa Cup Full Size Razor Golf Bag from 2006 - WGHoF Collection
Scribed with a sleek, silver writing instrument by over twenty (20) LPGA Tour legends & HOF including JoAnne Carner, Captain Kathy Whitworth, Chris Johnson, Jan Stephenson, Amy Alcott, Pat Bradley, Patty Sheeran, and Cindy Rarick is this full-size Handa Cup at World Golf Hall of Fame in St Augustine, Florida golf bag once displayed in the World Golf Hall of Fame as part of their collection offered in this auction. The international USA vs World team competition was played from 2006 until 2015, and until 2009 at the World Golf Village. US would go 9-1 during that ten year span.
This Razor's Golf branded bag was signed by the contestants from both sides of the isle during the inaugural 2006 Handa Cup, with Martha Nause's signature on the US side, a one-time tournament participant. Whitworth would captain each of the first half-dozen competitions, with 'Big Mama' JoAnne Carner taking over for a pair of years and then Nancey Lopez doing the same until its conclusion. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity (ALOA) comes with this lot.
