Chuck Kocsis' Personal c. 1935 Ed Dudley Spalding & Bros Putter Purchased at ANGC with Letter
With a handwritten letter of provenance from Chuck Kocsis comes his personal 'Ed Dudley' Spalding & Co "Cash in" Spalding putter that Kocsis purchased from Dudley in his Augusta National Golf Club shop around 1935 - it was the last one in Dudley's shop. The Yellow sheeth over the shaft before chrome indicates 1935 or a year or 2 before. Kocsis played in The Masters 11 times and received the Low Amateur honor in 1952. Ed Dudley was Augusta National’s first head Golf Professional with a tenure from 1932 - 1957. 'Ed Dudley' is on one side of the putter head, with 'Chuck Kocsis' on the other. 'AG Spalding & Bros.' is engraved on the sole of this 34"
