1959 Ryder Cup at Eldorado CC Palm Springs Town & Club Magazine Special Program
Produced regionally for the 1959 Ryder Cup at Eldorado by 'Palm Springs Town & Club' magazine was this patriotic red, white and blue covered special edition program, in which has been preserved in the very good condition it was printed in over 60 years prior in Palm Desert, California. On the cover is the issue Vo. II, No. 7. October 29, 1959. Throughout the magazine is a plethora of local California time-period advertisements, many black and white in nature. The Sam Snead captained United States Team defended home soil quite admirably, taking back the heralded Ryder Cup Trophy from the Great Britain Team. It would be Sam Snead's only matches as the playing captain - a great success. Please inspect the accompanying lot photos closely for a detailed condition report on each item.
